A subsidiary of TAV Airports, Havaş operates at 30 airports in Turkey and internationally at Zagreb Airport in Croatia and Riga Airport in Latvia. Founded in 1958, Havaş is Turkey’s most established ground handling brand and provides warehouse services at Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, and Izmir airports. In addition to ground handling, the company also offers cargo and warehouse operations as well as passenger transportation between airports and city centers.
Project Summary
To unify more than 4,500 employees engaged in ground handling, bus, and cargo-warehouse operations under a single digital platform, Havaş selected APPRON. Developed by Nuevo, APPRON offers employees across all profiles an “access from anywhere” experience through its web interface and iOS/Android applications. Leave requests, travel, advance, and overtime forms are completed via self-service, while approval workflows are integrated with SAP. Managers can instantly access reports on their teams, while payroll viewing, news-announcement feeds, and event calendars accelerate daily operations. Field teams remain up to date with personalized push notifications, even outside the office.
The deployment of APPRON at Havaş delivered measurable efficiency gains in internal communication and workflows: multi-step approvals were digitized, form processes consolidated into one platform, and announcements and updates began to be published simultaneously. Announced in 2020 as a pioneering corporate mobile platform in the sector, APPRON simplified access to payroll, leave, and other personal processes while strengthening internal communication through instant access to events and announcements.

Core services built with .NET run reliably on an MS SQL Server database, while Redis and RabbitMQ ensure performance and continuity. With its high-traffic API structure, thousands of employees can enjoy a seamless and rapid experience simultaneously.
